Games / resources to support children who need extra help with reading / writing / spelling:
Below are some lists of words your child should be able to read by sight and spell accurately. If your child does not have a full grasp of these words by the time they should then pointing them out when reading, and using them in spelling games and wordsearches can help them to pick them up more easily.
High Frequency Words that children should know by the end of Year 2:

To help your child with comprehension, you can help them work on Reading Quest activities. You can base these activities on any reading they are doing and theye earn house points in school for every quest they complete.
